Junior Designer (Global Brand) – Central Stockholm

From Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Training Consultancy specialized in Fashion, Luxury, Retail and FMCG, we are looking for a Junior Designer for underwear and swimwear to join an global fashion brand based in Stockholm.

In our recruitment and training consultancy, we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan and Munich.

Job description:

As Junior Designer, your main responsibilities will be:

- Collaborating with senior designers to create sketches, mood boards, and initial prototypes for new collections.

- Conduct market research to identify current fashion trends.

- Produce technical drawings and flat sketches.

- Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims, and materials for new collections.

- Collaborate with the production team to develop samples and prototypes.

- Participate in fittings and provide input on necessary adjustments to ensure the final garments fit as intended.

- Help prepare for fashion shows, presentations, and photo shoots.

- Continuously learn and develop design skills, staying updated with new techniques, software, and industry trends to grow within the role.

Requirements 

- 2 years of experience in design

- A strong design portfolio

- Communication skills

- Highly organized

- Attention to detail

- Trend awareness and textile knowledge
